He trained in Bangalore, Bombay, Leicester, London and Birmingham prior to his appointment in Nottingham. In addition to his subspecialty training in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Neuro-Ophthalmology, he has spent time in research (clinical and molecular genetics) leading to a PhD from the University of Leicester.
He has published extensively in prestigious scientific journals and is actively involved in teaching & training of the next generation of ophthalmologists.
